ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am a textile enthusiast with over 20 years experience working with a wide range of textile arts. I am particularly interested in historical techniques and love learning about their origins and social contexts. I enjoy taking inspiration from traditional textiles and applying 'old' techniques to my own modern designs.
Originally trained as a biologist, I am constantly inspired the natural world and aim to make my artistic practice as sustainable as possible, using mostly natural and upcycled materials.
